Cova’s Wine Bar:
The Cova Wine Bar is open at 10AM M-Sat and 11 Sun for guests to enjoy wines from our selection of 40 wines that we offer by the taste and by the glass. We also offer 10 flights, which is a selection of three wines grouped by theme. Flights let you experience many different taste sensations and can be very educational. Each wine is served in a tasting size and represents a savings over ordering them as three separate tastes. Our wine list changes every Friday to keep the selections new and exciting for our guests. Along with our extensive wine list, every wine we have in Cova Hand-Selected Wines is available to purchase and open for a minimal $10 corkage fee.

For guests that would like to visit us before 5 PM, we have cheese plates in both tapas and racion sizes, the tapa being a selection of 4 of our 14 different cheeses, and the racion a selection of 4 with the addition of Jamon Serrano, Prosciutto San Daniele, Braseola, & French Salami.

We start serving food from our tapas menu at 5PM daily, and are open until 11PM M-Th, 1AM F & Sat, and 9PM Sun. Our tapas menu is updated weekly with fresh and interesting ingredients and new menu items designed by our Executive Chef, Eric Lawhon.

Wine Classes are held in the main dining room at Cova Washington, located at 5555 Washington Ave. Wine Dinners are held in the Reserve Room at Cova Kirby, located at 5600 Kirby Dr.

Some cheeses are a near religious with experience with the perfect wines while others can ruin a great wine. If you'd like to explore how to achieve wine and cheese bliss then join Monsterville as he leads a tasting of 8 delicious wines paired with over a 9 different artisan cheeses. A 3-Course dinner featuring various cheeses will be served.

Join Monsterville for an exploration and amazing tasting of the incredible 2007 vintage of California Pinot Noir. All of the major regions will be covered and you will taste some of the greatest Pinot Noir ever produced from the Golden State . Some of the wineries featured will include Brewer Clifton, Siduri, Loring, Paul Hobbs, Copain, A.P. Vin, etc. A perfectly paired 3-course dinner will accompany this special tasting! Pinot lovers don't miss this one!

What could be better than big, delicious red wines and a tender, juicy steak? How about 8 big, delicious reds and a multi-course steak dinner? Join Monsterville and Cova Executive Chef, Eric Lawhon for a wonderful evening sampling big reds from all over the globe along with various cuts of perfectly cooked steaks. Monsterville will explain the pairings and Chef Lawhon will share his cooking tips so that you can learn to make perfect steaks at home.

2006 Vineyard 29 "Cru" Cabernet Sauvignon $10 per glass and Live Jazz!
Sundays 7-10pm
This winery is one of my personal favorites year in and year out. They don't know how to make a bad wine! This vintage of "Cru" is one of the best that they've ever made. It retails for $59.99, but come by this Sunday for live jazz, delicious tapas and enjoy this gorgeous Cabernet blend for only $10 per glass! Sunday Live Jazz Night is held at Cova Washington from 7-10 P.M. and features the smooth sounds of the Stephen Richard Band.
